The Most Amazing Rum Slush #rum #slushdrink

With its refreshing citrus taste and super-cool slushiness, Rum Slush is simply perfect for sipping on those hot summer days.

This is one of those pour-a-bunch-of-juices-together-with-some-rum, let it freeze, and scrape-it-out-like-Italian-ice type slush recipes. I mix mine in a large 22-cup Tupperware container, then pop on the lid, and pop it all in the freezer.

When it comes time to enjoy its slushiness, simply use a sturdy spoon to scrape the slush out Italian-ice style and plop it in a glass. The rum keeps the mixture from freezing solid, so it's pretty easy to scoop out. If it's tough at first, don't worry ... just 5 minutes sitting out of the freezer will fix that.

Once the slush is scooped out, fill the remainder of the glass with 7-Up or Sprite, and sip away to beat that summer heat.
